BULLET PROOF WINDOW

This is a bullet proof window for a worker to pass documents through. The window is 1-1/4" thick polycarbonate. This material has an impact resistance of about 250 times that of safety glass. The frame is made from 14 gauge stainless steel, and is designed to be installed in a concrete block wall. There are no gaps or seams where a bullet can squeeze through. The tray at the bottom is for passing documents through. This tray is specially designed so that a bullet shot into it will penetrate a thin layer of metal at the surface and be caught in a pocket made from thick metal. This design provides smooth surface for the documents, but too weak to support a bullet.
