Since 1980, Central Metal Fabricators, Inc. (CMF) has provided innovative design, fabrication, machining, and assembly services to a diverse range of industries. Since its inception as a welding and repair shop more than 30 years ago, CMF has grown into a leading designer and fabricator of precision components and assemblies. To that end, CMF offers impressive equipment capabilities including laser cutting, CNC milling, CNC turning, CNC punching, and CNC bending. In addition to its developed production capabilities, CMF provides comprehensive design and engineering solutions for the most challenging applications. Using its expert design and manufacturing services, CMF also engineers replacement parts for defective designs and obsolete parts. To complement its assembly services, CMF has also developed a wire and cable manufacturing department for both high and low voltage applications. CMF currently owns a state-of-the-art, 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Farmingdale, New Jersey. 95% of its services are provided for the benefit of the United States Armed Forces and the balance is provided to commercial industry. CMF proudly employs a cohesive team of approximately 25 skilled, highly-trained, and motivated individuals. The vast majority of these employees are dedicated to design and production services. CMF’s accomplishments as a respected manufacturer are due, in no small part, to the contributions its invaluable staff. CMF’s core team is its most valuable asset. TMK –
Terminal Mounting Kits for LMST Antenna System CMF, working in close connection with the Electronics Engineer at Fort Monmouth, NJ designed the Terminal Mounting kits from concept drawings. These drawings were then transformed into a prototype and tested on the LMST Antenna System. The prototype system was then put into production and more than 30 kits have been shipped to date to various locations, including many associated spare parts for the system. Each kit consists of more then 140 individual parts, 40+ fabricated metal and plastic parts, and the balance, purchased, and modified purchased parts. As an ongoing part of the project CMF, also manufactures and maintains an inventory of spare parts associated with this kit and the assembly. NSV –
Nodal Support Vehicle HCLOS Antenna Transfer System CMF, worked close with the Electronics Engineers at Fort Monmouth, NJ to design, develop and manufacture the NSV-1000 system. A prototype was then manufactured and tested. The prototype system was then put into production and more than 50 systems have been shipped to date to various locations, including many associated spare parts for the system. The projected quantity within the next 5 years is 500. Each system consists of more then 120 individual parts, 28+ fabricated metal and plastic parts, and the balance, purchased, and modified purchased parts. As an ongoing part of the project CMF, is still manufacturing and shipping this system as a part of an on going joint effort with the Army. CMF also manufactures and maintains an inventory of spare parts associated with this system and the assembly.

V3 Communication Shelter Parts To date, more then 100 systems have been shipped. Each kit / set of parts consists of 80 fabricated and machined, metal and plastic parts and/or assemblies. CMF, works closely with engineers in the design and upgrade of these parts and assemblies. As an ongoing part of this project CMF continues to working with the customer to provide design upgrades and modifications due to changes in equipment and other needs. LHGXA AS-4429 Antenna
Outrigger System CMF was approached by the engineers at Booze, Allen Hamilton to design and prototype during the initial phase of this project. Once the prototype was tested it was put into production. A total of 48 of these outrigger systems have been shipped to date, including many of the associated spare parts to this system. As an ongoing part of this project CMF manufactures and maintains inventory spare parts for the outrigger system. All the above parts are listed on our on-line parts list/database.
LHGXA AS-4429 Antenna System (Spare Parts Support Program) This project required CMF to reverse engineer obsolete/rare/unavailable parts for the LHGXA AS-4429 Antenna System. There are approximately 300 of these Large Mobile Aperture Antenna Systems deployed worldwide. We currently manufacture and stock over 80 parts and assemblies related to these systems. The majority of these parts are currently shipped to the LHGXA Reset Depo, while direct shipments are made to support requests from military installations worldwide.
